The tax returns for the president and first lady have been released. President Obama’s income dropped to $1.7 million last year. As with his 2009 income, most of the president’s 2010 income came from sales of his books. The Obamas also gave almost $250,000 to charity.

“In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes,” said one patriot, but screw up on taxes and you’ll raise the hackles of the IRS. These folks are probably not looking forward to tax day.
