Is The Situation Leaving Jersey Shore?



Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has already made his mark on reality TV, and now the Jersey Shore star has his sights set on box office stardom.

"Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in a movie," Sorrentino, 28, tells E! News
But Shore fans don't need to fret just yet. Sorrentino says he'll remain on TV for "another year or so" before shifting his time and talents to the big screen.
"It's like Michael Jordan," he says. "There's only so long you can keep winning them rings. There's only so long you can rule the reality world."
MTV has a situation on its hands: it's soon no longer going to have The Situation in its hands.
The breakout star of the network's 'Jersey Shore' has bigger plans for his abs, telling E! Online that he plans on leaving the show in the near future.
"There's only so long you can rule the reality world," he said. "Maybe another year or so of reality, and then I'm gonna graduate to movies."
